Noriyuki Suzuki  |  鈴木 紀之

Noriyuki Suzuki (b. 1985, Fukushima, Japan) is an artist based in Bremen, Germany. After completing his studies in art history in Kanazawa, Japan, under the influence of Daido Moriyama's attitude towards photography, Ciclovsky's formalism and the idea of defamilialization, he began to create a film work that expresses the transience of cities and the people who live in them. It was screened at several international film festivals. In 2014, he moved to Germany and expanded his interest in using digital expression. He now focuses on installation works to reveal "ritualistic", as he calls it, human thoughts and behaviors that we can't even perceive as such since they are completely internalized in our society, by changing their perspectives and the arrangement.
